Dr Don Collins is Gardner Denver Nash’s Global Applications Manager, Dry Technology. He is responsible for Nash’s chemical and pharmaceutical dry pump applications engineering and for identifying value-added vacuum solutions to help expand the company's chemical dry pump business globally.
A chemical engineer for more than 35 years, Dr Collins has over 25 years of specialized experience designing successful dry vacuum systems installed around the globe on many types of applications. Before joining Nash, he worked with several major companies and has accumulated experience in research and development, business development, mathematical modelling and plant simulation, design, optimization, and troubleshooting. He earned his PhD in mathematical modelling and process control from the Dorset Institute of Technology, now Bournemouth University, while working for Davy McKee (Poole) Ltd.
